A Haunting We Will Go - 6 Richly Haunted Places To Visit in Kentucky

smithdenieslook

The paranormal is a huge interest of many people. I have often wondered why and what it is about. Demons or Dead Souls are they real or the imaginations of people.

We are planning a trip to many of the haunted places in Kentucky so I thought I would do a little research on it and tell you about what I have found.

Let me first say that I believe in the darkness of an in between world. A place for whatever reason that people end up in when they are simply not ready or unable to move on. I am not going to go in why or how I know this is truth for me, but I will simply say it is.

I am also going to make a statement that I believe in Demons, Angels and God. No need to know why, but again I simply know it as truth.

Over the years I have had many encounters with all of it and so my questions tend to be stuff like:

If one ghost can touch you why can't they all?If no ghost or demon can harm you, they why can some?If they can see in day or darkness then why must the "dark hour" be 3a.m?Why can some spirits talk to us and others not?Do the spirits know they are dead? Why would they follow someone home if they are connected to a place or person? Why can people who firmly believe in ghosts never see, hear or feel them?

Kentucky is full of history, wars and tribulations. It was granted statehood in 1792. When people think of Kentucky they think; horses, tobacco, moonshine, racing and of course hillbillies. It is no wonder with all that going on that it would also be known as one of the best haunted states in the country. Kentucky is full of rich history and is well-known for the legendary Hatfield & McCoy feud, ghostly caves and abandoned coal mines.

Even at the State Office Building there is known to be many reported incidences of people saying they heard something that was not there, they felt something that was not there and even heard talking when the place was empty. It is accepted as haunted mainly because the building stands on the spot where the state penitentiary used to be.
